About Me

Hello, my name is Cayla- it is lovely to meet you! I am a Southern California girl who has grown up loving the sunshine. I love a lot of things actually, but most of all I love JESUS! Another thing that is very dear to my heart is the Bible. I love to study the bible and have spent a substantial amount of time doing so...I can never get enough! I love studying it for myself, immersing my soul in it's truth, and walking alongside others in order that they also might discover the truth of who God is.

I love to be with people, whether it is playing games, grabbing coffee, enjoying a sunset or simply taking a walk. Singing and dancing is something that have enjoyed since I was young. I love the color yellow as well as the color pink, sparkles and lace. I very much enjoy both reading and writing and I hope you enjoy some of the things I have written here.

Meet my family!

I love my family, they are amazing. I have learned so much from each one of them, and I love that we get to do life together! (This is us in the photo on the right). From left to right: Gabrielle (sister), Cayla (Me), Paul (Dad), Mahalia (sister), Tammy (Mama) and Simeon (brother). 

I am also a fan of traveling, but of all the places in the world, God has especially given me a heart and a love for the the country of South Africa. 

Through this blog, I hope to be an encouragement to you in your walk with Jesus because I know it is not easy! But as we walk together and I share my heart and struggles, I hope you may find comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Our Father carries us and has given us each other that we might walk towards Him together.
