The flowers of the field..

     Birds circle overhead, winds blows my hair in every direction, warm sun shines, and flowers grow up beneath my feet. On my walks lately, I've seen lots of little tiny flowers, and I can't help but stop and take a look.. 

   
     When I see the flowers of the field, I remember, and am overwhelmed by the love of God. His care and creativity to display such great beauty, in such little things as the tiny flowers of the field..flowers that many people will never notice- it is so wonderful! He clothes countless fields with incredibly beautiful flowers that no human eye will ever see..for His good pleasure, because He is God, He is good and He is sooo beautiful! I love that!

   If He creates and clothes beautifully, countless fields full of flowers that many will never behold, taking time to make them lovely, even though they will pass away in but a moment....how much more is His deep love and tender care for us?!

  "Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?  And who of you by worrying  and  being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature  or  to the span of his life?  And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field  and  learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin.  Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these. [I Kings 10:4-7.]  But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive  and  green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith?  Therefore do not worry  and  be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?  For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for  and  crave  and  diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all."

   Jesus is so good to use parables that we can so easily relate to, and He can constantly be reminding us of His love through them, because they are little things, we always get to see! He is so wonderful =) 

 May you see lots of flowers this month, and be reminded next time, how deep is the Father's love for you..He cares about the little things of your life.
