DTS: Learning about intimacy...
During this time, God has been teaching me SO much! I'm so very glad that He called me here. There is still so much left to experience. We've been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and I've just enjoyed these months of growth, so much! They have held so much more than I thought was possible!
I think that is one thing that I've learned; no matter where you are in your walk with Christ, whether you're close to Him, or you've run so far away that you don't know if you could come back, there is always more of God. He is always wanting to take us deeper with Him in our level of intimacy, deeper in the healing of our hearts and restoring us into our true identity in Him, deeper in love with Him and deeper revelations of who He is. He is always enough!
Our school has been called "Transformers." Now, I know you're singing "robots in disguise," in your head, but not those kind of transformers ;) We have been called to be individuals transformed, to then go and be salt and light (Matt 5:16) to see the lives of others transformed by the love of God, through us. We're now getting ready to go out in that Transformational love..May the knowledge of the glory of The Lord cover the earth like the waters cover the sea..and may the sea foam reach someone else's toes, and draw them in to the Love of Christ that deeper and vaster than any ocean, becuase I existed..
During one of our first weeks here, I was spending some time with Jesus, and I felt like He spoke this to me: "It through adoring hearts that the nations are transformed.." Through DTS so far, He has been teaching me that, and creating more of an adoring heart in me, that is making me so excited to have the hearts of others turn into hearts of adoration for Him as well!! He is so good! I just so want to adore Him more, and for others to come adn adore Him as well.. <3
Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all who have been praying for me during this time! It has been a wonderful blessing, with so much growth! I can't wait to see what God is going to do as we head out to serve Him!
I won't be posting for a while, as I will not have internet access most of the time I'm gone. I can't wait to share all the stories I know God will put into motion! Much love, and blessings! May you be encouraged today, by the relentless love of God, for you!
